A Guide to London's ExCel Exhibition Centre

"ExCel" is a condensed form of Exhibition Centre London, a venue located in web conferencing Canary Wharf Chocolate Gift with the City Airport close by. The project was conceptualized in 1988 when the Association of Exhibition Organizers approached an architect with the plans to build an exhibition center.

Apart from that there is the London Golf Show 2008 as well as Business Startup, which a combination of public and trade events.

The venue is undergoing large scale refurbishment in the event halls. This move was aimed to provide an environment that exudes class and elegance. The managers have consulted with leading industry specialists to determine the best materials available.

In terms of accommodation, the venue houses 6 hotels, varying from high-end to affordable. There is the Crowne Plaza, Ibis, Novotel, Premier Inn, Ramada Hotel and Suites, and lastly the Sunborn Yacht. The last of the list is certainly not the least being the world's first custom-built Yacht hotel, overlooking the beautiful waterfront vista of the Royal Victoria Dock.
